From Gilbert & Sullivan, to classic and modern Musical Theatre, with forays into Opera, Timothy has a wide range of experience.
He has worked as a Musical Director, Conductor, Répétiteur, Vocal Coach and Pit Player. These experiences have called upon a few transferable skills: Auditioning, training soloists / choruses, coaching, conducting, keys conducting, keyboard programming, rehearsal and budget planning.
"I’m particularly interested in the point where cathedral music and theatre meet. There is a focus on clarity, structure, and the charged stillness before sound and action unfold."

And the singing – consistently good throughout – was at its best in those ensemble numbers: the chorus makes what Neil Diamond called “a beautiful noise”.
